Aussie Heads

Hi to all!

I have a 79 bronco 400 with tmeyer pistons, and I want to get a pair of aussie iron heads. I have hedman headers and I hadnīt got fitting issues. But, can I use aussie heads with these headers? Will they fit?

Yes, the bolt pattern and port size are the same on any of the 2v heads. You do know your compression will be raised, a lot. You will be locked into the most expensive gas at the pump. You would have to have to go through the dist and try to get it to where it's not going to ping anywhere in the curve too. For a street motor I'd t stay just where your at right now, if you want more, I'd go big block. One other thing to consider, unless you get some great deal on them ? By the time you would go through a set, valves, guides, a seat here and there, milling, etc, the price on a nice new aluminum set of heads will be starting to look a lot better. You will have a much better, improved upon combustion chamber with good flowing ports right out of the box.
