Welcome to FTE. How long since your last oil change and is it full? Any oil additives? What is the actual number for the code you're getting? If you unplug your ICP sensor, does it make a difference?
F-350 thanks for the welcome.
Oil change within 1000 miles I did it before my oil change. But only in the crank case. I have seen topics on HPOP oil change but made no sense to me because the oil just drains into crank case.
No oil additives.
I do not know about the ICP sensor I will check that in the morning. I don't have the number but it was low ICP
Tugly It happens at any amount of fuel.
Keep an eye out for additional codes. A P1211 code is very common when running a chip or programmer. The light will come on during heavy load and go off on it's own a while later. This should not cause any loss of power.
Overboost or other things could cause a loss of power, but not with that code. The issue at a stoplight sounds like something different unless this all traces back to an ICP / IPR issue.
And you're right, don't waste your time with the HPOP oil change. That will not fix your problem.
Ok heading out to sniff around. I do not have a code reader, is there any specific thing I need to look for buying a new one?
If your planning on doing the work on the truck yourself, you would be better off with a scan tool like AE or the Infinity from DP. you can see what all the sensors are doing and record data. Very helpful when these guys are helping you troubleshoot.
Ok drove a bunch this morning, what do you know no SES light. I did later pull the connector off the ICP and I had oil come out. Does that prove anything?

Proves your ICP is going out. might be your problem. They push oil up through them when they start going out. Riffraff and Diesel o'rings has them for about $145. My dealer wanted $200 so I didn't mind waiting a couple days for the mail.
I thought your Edge could read the codes? Skip the code readers at the parts store that say all vehicles 96 and up. The 7.3 engine is not OBDII compliant so they won't read engine codes on these motors.
Oil in the ICP plug is a sign there might be a problem. I've had oil in my ICP plug before and had no issues for 100,000 miles. I swapped it out to see if a new one made any difference, and it didn't. A local guy had ICP problems and I let him borrow my old, leaking ICP. That was 2 years ago and he's still running it.
If you do change it out, it's pretty straight forward. A crows foot wrench to get the old one out is handy. The new one is designed different so make sure you've got a deep socket large enough to put the new one in. Also, it's an o-ring seal. You don't have to tighten the snot out of it and risk breaking something. Just good and tight will do, or there is a torque spec for it I'm sure someone can provide if you want it.
