Trailer wire issue.
I have both the 7 prong and 4 flat wires on my truck. They worked fine for the longest time now for some reason I dont have running lights for my trailer I have brake light and turn signal lights just not running lights. I did use a volt meter to check it at the socket and nothing. The only thing I can thing of to do is start following the wire back and see if there is a spot where there is a break in the line. However before I do that is there a fuse anywhere that I should know about for the running lights. Thanks
Also the electric trailer brakes work fine and like I said all other lights work.

there is a fuse for the trailer running lights. It should be in the fuse box in the cab.
check your owner's manual for the fuse number.
if you don't have an owner's manual, you can download one from the ford webpage.
most likely just a fuse, don't do anything else till you check that.

that was the answer I was looking for. When I go home to day I will check it. It that is the problem it should be an easy fix unless it keeps blowing the fuse
