What do you guys think of these? Anyone done this yet?

 

It may improve light output, but the factory LED reversing lights look much better. They use multiple bulbs.

 

Is that a bulb replacement or the whole assembly?

 

I think you unfortunately you have to change the whole assembly.

 

Just a bulb, doesn't mention part number, but shows you how to test polarity is correct and working before re assembly.

 

Looks like if you don't have the LED light package this is a buld replacement. From the video it looks like a huge difference over the stock bulbs. I say why not, I will order them and get back to you guys with real feedback. Never can you have to much light while backing up!

Those are just drop in bulbs though. They will be brighter but you will have a ton of glare or poor output. I would buy the backup lights because those aren't an on road light but not the headlight/fog, especially for that price. There will be better options soon enough that actually modify/replace the headlight housing or an adapter to go ford led headlight/fog lights.

 

I agree I would rather put $500 towards Ford OEM Headlights if I feel I need them that bad.

 

I received a tracking number for my LED replacement bulbs this morning! Should be here by the end of the week, as soon as they are in I will give you a real life assessment of the quality and functionality of them.

 

What bulbs did you order and for how much?

 

I ordered the reverse bulbs, tag bulbs and brake light bulbs. I don't want to pull the grill out in the winter to do the headlight bulbs. The total for all 3 areas was 130.00

I replaced my reverse light bulbs with LED's, it made a huge difference. I don't have any before pics but I could snap some with the new bulbs installed if anyone is interested.

 

I have the LED bulbs installed in the reverse lights and they are awesome! I also did the brake lights, they seem brighter than the stock ones. I cant get the tag lights in just yet my hands are to big to reach in behind the bumper and hitch, so those will have to wait till spring. Only complaint is I have a hyper flash on the dash display when turning on a signal. The lights don't flash to fast just the dash display does.
