Hey KSCop, good to see you posting again! Here is a shot of factory location of power windows, (by the speaker grill) door locks is just above door handle.<br/>My knee rests on the window switch all the time....
I did a power window swap too. It was easy to get the motors and regulator parts from newer trucks, but it was hard to get the Ford door switches and bezels for our gen. trucks. The GM switches were available in the "help" rack...and they looked similar. It would be good to know how those easily available GM switches can be adapted to our trucks.
Verrrrrry Simple, the photo above, My Factory Ford Power windows and locks came from a '86 Bronco.....
All you need is the wiring harness that goes across the dash from door to door, it's a 1 piece harness and just plugs into the back of the existing fuse panel.
And since you have located a truck or Bronco that has power windows, snag the doors, rusted or not and all pieces are there.
Number dummy will tell ya, the switches are still available, its the Bezels that can be a bi%@h to find.
