4x4 issues
I have a 1997 ford f150 4.6 4x4 with electronic shift. Runs great has 147,xxx. I live in ND and the spring is wet muddy and cold. My 4x4 has had a couple issues. First it started to click a couple times when u would turn it on. Then one morning the light stayed on but it wasn't in, came out later and worked fine. Similar incidents have been happening. It still works just makes me nervous. Is it just wet and frozen or what. Please help.

That's how it started with my '99 F150 4x4 electronic motor. Intermittent activity. It finally gave out one October and I had a chance to change it out before the Winter. No problems after that. Unfortunately, it's a little pricey. I don't know if I'ld bother with one from a boneyard.
