4x4 Malfunction

98 exp, Shifts into low range, but front differential will not kick in, in any 4x4 mode? Help! Electronic shift problem.

I was researching some 4x4 probs on my 99 and found the tech bulletins on motorcraft.com were a big help. I saw something that sounded just like your prob... The only drawback is you have to pay a 9.95 subscription to read/print their factor notes.
