I need help!! I am trying to figure out exactly what rear axel and gear ratio I have in my 2wd 1975 f350 Supercab. This would be all great and dandy if I had a warranty plate on my truck but I don't. I have tried searching my vin (000000F35JKX01475) everywhere and still haven come up with anything. I think that it is a Dana 70 due to the 70 on the right side of the pumpkin where Dana stamps there model #, but I do not know for sure. I think the ratio is eather 4:10, 4:11, or 4:56 but i need to know exactly what the ratio is. Ill do my best to awnser any questions you guys have.
Thanks Montana, that was the pic I was looking for.
I got another question, on the left side of the pumpkin in the same location that the model # is on the right is a 5. Anyone have any idea what this means?
there should also be a tag held on by 1-2 of the cover bolts with the ratio stamped on it. if there is an L between the numbers ie 4L11 then it has a limited slip differential.
