im sad to say that last sunday i was in a major accident, some old guy passed out at the wheel and ran a red light and totaled my truck. even with all the problems it gave me i still loved it. but i dont think im gonna put myself through that again and im going with a duramax this time. so good luck to all and thanks for all the help
Im sorry to here the bad news ,I Hope your OK ,thats pretty Tramatic and It could have been deadly, you can always replace a truck but you can never replace the almighty schmuck, hope all is well and there will be anouther 6.0l in the horizon. you can call it Schmuck II lol
Hate to say but I'm last in my group of friends to own 6.0. I'm determined to workout the weakness. I still like the solid front axle setup Ford gives. Dodge=Motor,Chevy=interior,Ford=TRUCK.
For the love of God, just don't buy a '04.5-05 LLY Duramax. There's no reason to jump from the frying fan into the fire of diesel issues by buying a truck that overheats when you look at it funny. Go to duramaxforum.com and hopefully they'll get you set up with a good one

^^^^^^^^^^^ X100 what he said! I did it the other way around -- mine was a LLY
That's three bad Chevy trucks for me over time (ya' think I'd learn). Never going back to GM!! Plus their mgmt screwed their investors...
If it wasn't Ford, I'd consider a Dodge, but not of the 6.7 generation, maybe an '06...
Bottom line is you are around to buy something, so at least the truck did that for you
