I fixed my leaking water pump bypass tube and now I'm reinstalling the intake. I have my intake in place and bolt I reattached all fuel injectors to their connectors. Trouble is I have what looks like a fifth fuel injector connector way in the back on the driver's side of the engine. Please help me identify where this mystery connector belongs.

 

could it be your cyl. head temp sensor plug ? I think it should come out the front . Just a thought . Pictures would help to ID it .

I added photos to my gallery you can see the gray connector in both shots located back by the fuel lines

 

Sorry , I can't tell what it should go to . Hope someone else chimes in soon . I got a 4.6 in the shop . I'll look at it when I get to work tomorrow , If no one else chimes in first .

 

sorry I found it this morning it's the 4th fuel injector connector and attached to an injector, glad I went to bed and tried again, thank you

 

Glad you found it . The one I looked at , that injector plug pointed towards the firewall . Simple mistake .
