EFI head question

does anyone know if all EFI heads use the same valve size? If not is one year or part # prefered over another? Trying to build torque not max HP.

I'm not that familiar with 385 EFI heads, other than knowing there's no aftermarket support, but this'll bring it back to the top where maybe an answer will arrive.

all 460 efi heads have same specs and all have a tendency to crack. Ford has introduced a new aluminum head but I think it's for carbs, edelbrock has heads as well.

EFI head question

There are two different EFI heads: 88-92 and 93-97. I believe the biggest difference is in the ports. Offhand I don't know if the valves are different. This is a question you should ask your machine shop, after all they'll be the ones that will actually do the valve swap.

Hmmm, I think the valves are subtly different. I'm about to change valve stem seals, and the Felpro box says 86 to 92 only. This implies the stem size is different.
