Hard 1-2 Shift
"Hercules" has started slamming into gear on that first shift after a stop.
Does'nt do it first thing in the morning when fluid is cold. If I baby the throttle, its barely felt. Not talking a blast-off start here, just normal acceleration when warmed up.
Solenoid sticking?? Is that "cleanable"?
Never exceeded 31K on fluid replacements.
Only got 294K on "Herc's" go box. Nothing lasts any more!!

It's not a solenoid. And you can't clean them, either.
There is a 1-2 shift accumulator in the accumulator body. Either it is sticking or the spring is broken. It's not hard to remove and replace.
