what are these sensors life span? I might have to take mine out and look at it to see if there is oil in there. when you say oil in side the sensor, does that mean when you take the sensor out in your hand and see oil in the actual sensor or the hole it came from?

No.
Just unplug the electrical connector. Look down in the sensor's connector socket for oil.
Look on the end of the pigtail connector for oil.
If present... i clean thoroughly with electrical contacts cleaner... plug it back in... then check again after driving for a while.
If there is oil coming from around the threads, the oring is inexpensively available from the nearest Ford dealer as part F4TZ-9N693-A or equivalent. If this is the problem, there will be large amounts of oil loss, so change all the oil galley orings (HPO oil hoses, sensor ports, etc.).
I tried to use a typical oring to seal up the oil galley leaks, but they don't hold up to the pressure. leakage stopped when I used the reinforced Ford orings.
