Mini CCV catch can

Here is my version of the CCV re-route.

Here is a banjo brand filter for a spray rig and 3/4" fittings


Here is the finished product rerouted back to the intake tube. I did add one more el and a straight connector. 3/4" heater hose was used.
Yes it is as small as it looks. It will only hold 2oz. of oil.

At one time I used one like that on a smaller diesel. It worked OK and worked better after I stuffed some stainless scouring pad inside the screen. Something very similar is sold for boats and they are available in several larger sizes. If you want to check out larger options search marine sites for Raw Water Strainer.

That is exactly what I was planning. I will run it a while and add the scouring pad if needed. I like the clear bowl.
