hub spring retaining plate

well i had my hubs and drums off and ive forgotten which way the hub spring retaining plate goes. from what pictures i have found it seems the cup side goes towards the knuckle, in a way it doesnt make sense because the other way the spring would sit in it. any i cant figure it out.

well i cant add any pictures so ill try to explain. behind the locking hub you have a big coil spring, where it seats inside the spindle there is a big washer, and thats what it rest against so it doesnt get chewed up by the hub nuts. after market hubs dont use this style only stock.

yeah. i didnt even put them in at first. then couldnt figure which way they went, seems like they should go in one way but just the opposite. good thing was i didnt have to undo the spindle nut to install them.

Are U in Wisconsin? (cheez)
U may want to look up < parts dummy > in the member's list (not the blue line above, but further up, the grey) as he has helped many locate #s.
