Hey everyone i have a 2002 mazda b3000 with a 5 speed manual and it recently began becoming very hard to go into gear and clutch pedal is pretty stiff. It almost feels like the clutch is not disengaging all the way. Does anyone or has anyone had this problem before and if so what did u do to fix it.
Ahamm, I would say check your fluid level, does your brakes feel spongey or soft petal,
1. fluid level
2. clutch pressure plate
if pressure plate put new throw out bearing in too .
The brake lines are not connected with the clutch master cylinder & slave. Separate systems. Check the brakes if necessary, but they do not contribute to difficulty in putting the transmission into gear nor hard pedal.
Check the master cylinder reservoir, and look for leaks in the master, lines and slave cylinder. If leaking, be prepared to pull the transmission to replace the slave.
If low on fluid, top off with fresh brake fluid.
