Does anyone else ride around just looking for dents as a pastime? My wife calls me a truck stalker becasue I beat on doors whenever I see a dent just sitting in the weeds in someones yard. Am I the only one?
Well, does your girly ever see one first, then watch you like a hawk... and just when your about to catch it in your sight, she yells out, "NO!" or am I the only one?

She still confuses them with bumpsides, but she does text me pics at least 3 times a week.
I concur with your wife... you ARE a truck stalker. However I can relate but not just with trucks... my wish/fantasy list is long. I'll share some:
1999 Ferrari F355 Spider
a "Monster Miata" (V8/T5)
An early Suburban (67-72) with an LS3/4L80 swap
94-96 Bronco
Lifted XJ Cherokee or ZJ Grand Cherokee
There is a 2x 250 crew on US 281 I have yet to stop and look at, no time. And a F750 crew about 50 miles north in ND that I found in the middle of a blizzard. Really wanna drag that two wheeler home.
Last Saturday I hauled off the trash in my 78' and went to squirt some gas in the truck. There is a shortbed extended cab dent across the way and I had been trying to catch someone home to ask about it. I saw the home owner pull up to the post office and I pulled up and asked about it. I think I startled him, but he told me it wasn't for sale that his son was coming to pick it up. The bed looks pristine on it with a camper shell, but I never got close enough to check it out completely.

.. but I already have too many toys.
My list is shorter... 67' Mustang Fastback, 71' Pontiac Ventura 2
, Aston Martin DBS... other then that I have everthing I want currently. **subject to change**
I don't specifically go out looking for dents, they're not a lot around my area any more. But when I do see one, I stare and get as good a look as possible.
I see a few dents that I drool over, but most of the ones I see I just feel sorry for.
I like spotting dents that are the same as mine. but I want to find out who's got that copper 67 GMC 1 ton 160" dually flatdeck that I see 3 - 4 times a summer.
I can spot a 78 or 79 going down the road at 70 mph. I have 7, 79's that are tagged that I drive. 4 or 5 more that run and I dont drive and about 10 for parts....Sometimes I think its a sickness...
Hey GM if you are looking for a REAL resto project my grandpa who's my neighbor has 13 67-68s and 6 fastbacks. He'd probably sell one... All the dents around here are owned y my now friends lol

I have to wait on my Mustang dream for a while... I have to build my 78' then build one for my wife. I recently picked up a 97' Powerstroke F-450 that will probably be the basis for either a dentside dually or 4x4 once its work life ends.
