EGR Cooler Replacement - Help?

Next time I won't remove it. Pulled to check the condition of all pulleys and to also see how much of a PIA it would be. Truck has all original equipment, so wanted to look everything over to see if there were any obvious problems. Retired so time spent was not highly critical at this time of year. Planning long trip this summer so spent a lot of time trying to learn as much as I could about how everything came apart and went back together. You are absolutely correct it wasn't necessary.
