OK not trying to sound dumb (good possibility though). But both the #6 & #10 post deal with EB tube being clogged (ie. P0478 code) doesn't the p0470 code mean something different?

It points to the sensor. Check to see if the sensor is clogged with soot. Be careful cleaning it out to not break the membrane that is in there. Check the wiring and connections.
Reasd this, https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/5...ny-shifts.html
New HPOP, IPR and ICP last summer. Still throws 1211's. Prior items replaced due to a no-start warm condition, not the 1211's. We bought the trailer a couple months after the HPOP work, so hard to tell if those made it better or worse.
Have a DP Tuner, but it is currently un-installed because I was eliminating possibilities of a tranny issue. Probably will put it back in. Coincidentally, I'm posting this from the waiting room at BTS (installing new shift solenoid pack).
MT, I sure am curious as to what you find out, mine does the same thing. Only get the 1211 code when I pull my fiver. Truck runs fine, it throws CEL every time we pull a hill then goes out in about 15 minutes. I've put new o-rings on, was thinking about a new HPOP but sounds like it didn't fix your problem.

The 1211 is a common code if your truck is tuned or programmed mine does it every time I have my 5ver attached and am pulling hills when the injectors are calling for more oil

I haven't done anything about mine yet. Still running original sticks and o-rings. It's actually rather rare I get a 1211 towing now, even running in DP Tuner 20T tune (or stock, doesn't matter). I'm chalking mine up to the injectors getting a little tired (coming up on 200k miles in the next month or two).
I haven't found any fuel in oil, oil in fuel, coolant anywhere other than the cooling system and still getting roughly the same mileage I've been getting overall. Until it gets rather common and/or I get some other issues that point to needing new sticks or o-rings, I'll run like I am.
I'll post up anything definite should I find it at some point.
