I am looking at buying this, the guy wants $900obo. It has a fair amount of rust, holes in the floor pans, cab corners and box sides above the wheels, box sides are also flimsy but we discussed that in another thread. I have not heard it run or drive, he says it runs strong. I am not to worried about the mechanical workings of the 400 mill that is currently in it. I have a very nice 429 that has yet to be assembled to take its place if I buy it. I am thinking more along the lines of $400-$500 for the truck, what is your all's opinion?
If you go into my profile you can see a picture of it there. I would rather not setup an account photobucket, should beable to post pictures right from the forum.
If you are going to deal with many pics, photobucket is the way to go. This site only lets you save a few pics. Photobucket gives you more space than you'll ever need.
I think I will try and get it for $400-$500, I could always part it out or haul it to the crusher and get my money back out it. The rust repair doesn't scare me at all, I have had much worse. It would be nice to go out west and get something in alot better condition, but by the time I take time off (self employed) to go out there and back, pay a higher price, I will be money ahead to fix up something that is normal condition around here.
