Help identifying a power steering box. . .
Is there a way to identify a Saginaw steering box from the casting number in the side of the body?
I have what I have been told is a Saginaw power steering box off that looks like it came off a 70's Ford truck, but I don't know what it came out of (it came with the project truck, '49 Jeep *****'s P/U, we bought).
I need to rebuild the box (or buy a new one), but I want to make sure I get the correct rebuild kit (or box) before I spend the money on it.
Here are the numbers on the box. . .7826692 on the top by the cover with a 324 upside next to it. . .5693463 is on the front cover, there is also a small round mark followed by a 4 on the top by the cover as well.
If I remember correctly it's a 3/4" - 36 spline shaft (I'm not at home right now to verify that). . .and it is rear steer

I can take more pic's when I get home if that will help, but this is what I have at the moment.
