need some info

hey ya'll, im back on here with another question about my bronco. i just noticed that i am low on tranny fluid. my quetion is, is there a special tranny fluid i should use since she, (my bronco) is a four wheel drive? if any of yall can give me some advice on this i would greatly apreciate it. thanx

Fluid type will be engraved into the transmission dipstick along with fill indicators. Depending upon age of the truck it uses either Type F or a Mercon derivative. The T-case is filled with gear oil and is separate from the transmission.

(If you find a Bronco in the U.S. without 4WD it has been modified or imported. Ford did not produce a 2WD Bronco in the U.S.)

Which kind of gear oil do you run on the transfer case? my OM recommended ATF for it, mine is a electrically shifted BW1356, may that cause the difference?.
