Error Code 67
Got the breakout box and checked per Dort's recommendations. Seems to point to a defective neutral switch. This neutral switch is suppose to be on the tranny but it just flat isn't there! All I can find on the tranny is the backup light switch and that is it. I am back at square one. Dort I managed to get a cd with all the shop manuals. It points out that the neutral switch is located on the transmission. But to no avail it just is not there on this manual transmission. The processor checks out ok as well as the a/c switch so my code 67 is being generated by this neutral switch. I spent most of the day Monday looking all over that transmission for this switch which in the Ford service manual states it to be on the transmission. I don't know but it is got to be the problem as no volatage was present on the breakout box, and the resistance was way off.

On my ranger, it's at the very top of the tranny beside the shifter tower. The only way you can barely see it is to pull the shifter boot and cut the carpet back. After I found out where it was, I can get on the pass side of the tranny under the truck, and reach my hand up on that side and feel around on top of the tranny and feel the switch.
That's the 5 speed on my ranger, don't know if yours is the same or not. I know you don't have the same tranny as the ranger.
