I read and viewed the pics on an earlier thread "changing your thermostat" and yes, it looks like a PITA.
You suggest HT over AT then ? I only preferred the AT's because of the wider looking stance.

If it is an on road truck, I would not even consider AT's. They are great if you occasionally need to take her off road, but on road they will wear faster, negatively affect your MPG's, and be noisier. I run HT's on my 2wd and they do the job just fine.
