03 Exploder Sunroof Leak

I have a suspicion that the gasket is bad but Im open to feedback... Water drips in on the passenger side from the headliner just above where the handle is bolted to the frame (next to the windshield) after a good rain. Anyone have the same problem and recommend a fix? Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

I suspect that either one of the drains is plugged, or the drain tube is disconnected at that corner of the sunroof. The bad news is you'll need to drop the headliner to access the drain tube, but I suspect that's the issue. You can try opening the sunroof and inspecting the channels for leaves and gunk first. If you find a lot of junk in there, clean it out and see if that helps. I suspect though you're going to end up dropping the headliner, at least enough to access the drain tube, and reattaching it.

shorod-
you hit the nail on the head! Both drains were clear so the tube was my problem. I removed the trim ring around the inside of the sunroof and peaked in there and the damn tube was staring at me! I was able to remove the pass side sun visor, pull down the weather strip along the door and pull the headliner down enough to put it back. Thank you very much for your valuable insight. If i didnt get it fixed soon, mildew would have become my new copilot!

Great, I'm glad to hear you got it squared away and you didn't end up needing to remove the entire headliner to do it. Thanks for the details on how you fixed it, that could certainly come in handy in the future!
