Understand what you are saying-I have always called them dog dishes because they reminded me of one. Looks like my stock hub caps will fit and look forward to the larger tires. Thanks.

This the best I could do. The truck is still at the garage.

Thanks for posting the picture FP. I hope my 54 looks that good someday. I was trying to get a look at the stance of your truck with stock suspension ,the 15 wheels and 235/75 15s. I will be making wheel and tire size choices at some point. Not trying to be a pain in the a** but once you are out and about could you post a side shot from a bit farther back?

Thanks, I should be driving it soon. I'll gladly post some pics.

Does this help?

Thanks FP. I appreciate it. That's what I was looking for. Is your running gear and suspension stock?

Would like opinions if this change in tire size will justify the cost. Thanks. Steve
Steve

I've just been through the same experiment, except in the opposite direction.

I went from 30" tires down to 27.5".......which lifted engine revs @ 55mph by 200rpm.
For me that was ideal; it has effectively taken me from 3.54 to 3.73 gearing, which is better suited to our local hills & towing.
People say a gearing change that small isn't noticeable - but that wasn't the case for me.

I think with your current 3.92 gearing, you will like the re-gear effect of the bigger tires, but @ 65mph you would still be doing 2950 rpm.
