Great forum and awesome info!! I have a little problem. I have pulled the steering wheel, turn signal collar, and the shift collar off the column. I am replacing the thrust washers and the spacer at the bottom of the shifter sleeve. Well I am attempting to do so. I have pulled the shifter sleeve/tube out but I don't know what I need to do in order to get the steering shaft out so I can slide the thrust washers and the spacer out.
I ordered some bushing kits from LMC Truck that I "think" are to go on the two shifter pieces on the column. They don't look anything like what is on there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. The truck is a 1978 F100 3spd on the column with a 300ci.
