Post Winter Storage Start Up

My F350 Dually 7.3L Diesel has been stored in the barn for the winter. Only thing I did was to remove the batteries and bring them inside and they have been recharged regularly over the course of the winter.

Now I'm ready to get her back out of storage. Is there anything I should be doing other than re-installing the batteries and turning the key.

check all fluids and tire pressures. Don't run it hard ease along for a few miles till she gets limbered up.

I would recomend changing your oil, changing temps threw the winter can add condinsation (water) to your oil.

Thanks Senix and CattleRancher , checked all the fluids and tires before re-installing the batteries, she's out of the barn started first turn of the key. Going to go through regular maintenance check list this afternoon. Then into the shop next week for the 120,000 mile check up.

Mine is still in storage as well. I feel I have around another 3 weeks to wait yet...

I don't even pull my batteries, just put the battery tender on.

Spring comes just start it up, drive, and change oil.

Today is the last day of a freezing high temp they say. High of 29 here today than it is all uphill from here! I can almost smell the diesel now!
