Just changed the trans filter on an 08 job 2 f350. When I went to ford to get the filter the guy took my vin and comes out with a filter that looks nothing like the one I pulled from the truck. Guy pulled the part number off the old filter and gave me one that looked like the one I pulled out of the truck. He thought it was strange because there was only one listed for the truck. It took 10 quarts of sp to bring it back up to the mark. Is that about what others have seen.
Mine was a large in the pan filter. Looking at some images it looks like the guy gave me an ft144 first but mine was an ft180. I wonder if the ft144 is for the job 1 trucks?
