Tranny Codes
Will the EEC-IV every throw tranny codes on an E4OD. I guess what I'm asking is, are these truck to old for that kinda convienence when it comes to trouble shooting. My Dad think it's a torque converter problem in his Bronco, but I never get any codes for a tranny issue on my code reader.

Yes, there are a series of Codes that pertain only to the electronic transmissions. Most of these are 600 series Codes beginning with Code 617 and running through about 657. Not all Codes apply to all transmissions so an E4OD may only see a handful of Codes in this range returned during KOEO testing.
