New Ford Owner

Good day to all. I am a new owner of a Ford Truck. I have a couple of questions on the model Truck I have. I picked up a 1994 F250 7.3 IDI Automatic. My questions are not about performance but about components.

1) What axles are stock to this truck?

2) I've been reading around about the 7-Lug wheels and it just being the hub caps. I do not have hub caps on my truck and the wheels have 7-Lugs. Is that normal for this truck?

Thank you to all that read this post.

If it is a 4x4, you have a Sterling 10.25 rear axle, and a Dana 50 Twin Traction Beam (TTB) front axle.

If you're looking at 7 lugs, you're probably looking at something like...

If those are the wheels you're seeing, pop off your wheel covers and count again.

I always get people asking about the 7 lugs. I get tired of explaining that they're just hubcaps and there are really 8 underneath.

Thank you both for your replies. I will take another look at the wheels, I hope that I am wrong.
