What is the stock wheel back spacing for a 1988 F350 4x4 srw? Also, what's the hub diameter? I'm going to order some new wheels for my truck and need this info
All Ford wheels for trucks of this vintage have zero offset so the hub surface is dead center of the wheel which were available in 7", 7.5", and 8" widths. HD trucks generally has 7" wheels so backspacing is half that or 3.5".
I'm pretty sure it's 6.5" on these trucks, because I believe it was the same as the dodge/chevy pattern until Ford changed to the 170mm metric style.... Right, guys?
EDIT: I'm not even sure if this is what you were asking, but it's here if you need the bolt pattern.

No, that's lug pattern. I'm asking about hub diameter (AKA hub bore) I need to know the size of the hole in the middle of the wheel that goes over the hub. I would just check myself but my truck is 200 miles away right now......
