Thinking of buying these to replace all my old ones do you think they are a good deal.. or should I stick with motorcraft. I can also get jegs for about 30 bucks more for 10.
Motocraft COP's (and the Standard brand that makes the Motocraft COP's - as I was told ) are recommended only . Our trucks seems to be finicky about non-motocraft aftermarket parts . Check rockauto.com they are usually very competitive.
You could carry a spare Motocraft COP with you . When you experience a misfire , either a scan gage would tell you what cylinder is misfiring (if it is really a serious misfire) , or (worse case scenario) you could swap the good spare COP one-by-one .
Well from everything I've read on this site, the majority say stick with Motorcraft. I just ordered 8 Motorcraft from Rockauto. They had the best price, plus they have 5% off right now. I replaced 2 of them about 4000 miles ago, and just checked the others and found 6 out of the last 8 has hair line cracks. I figured the Motorcrafts has lasted 79,000 miles, so if I get that out of spending a little more it will be worth it. Bad thing I have to wait for a few more days to get them in so truck is parked.

I really just want to replace all ten but dont want to drop 400 doing it. I plan to get ready to change plugs and was thinking of just to do all of it at once so I dont have to worry about it.
Thanks for the replys.
I put a set of Accel coils on my V10. The first one failed within a week. I replaced it. The next one failed two days later. I replaced all 10 with Standard Products coils, which is the brand that makes the Motorcraft coils. No more failures.
Just one more post to suggest AVOIDING Accel, Granatelli or any of the host of other COP will-fit products. While the price is enticing changing them out one-by-one soon after purchase makes the far more expensive than Motorcraft.
Rockauto.com or one of FTE's new Ford parts sponsors will sell Motorcraft for close to the same price as aftermarket---I opt to spend a few dollars more for reliability and quality.

Was the price for the COPs better than the Motorcraft price, and where were you able to purchase them?
The Motorcrafts I just ordered from RockAuto.com was $39.79 plus doing a search I found a current discount code for 5% off. I feel more comfortable paying a little more for Motorcrafts, then anything else.

That's a great price!
I remember pricing a few in '06 or so---a whopping $75 each from the dealer even with my own small discount. Its good when OEM brand or top quality is available for close to cheap knock-off prices.
