Looking to get some pointers on this no start.
During cranking white smoke is coming from tailpipe.
The wts light comes and go off after about 8 sec.
I have a p1212 and a p1670
The ipr starts at 15% when key on
When cranking the ipr goes to 65% and icp is around 2500psi
What am I missing?
welcome to fte first off, i'm not the best on the tech. info. or vans but, just to throw this out there for some things check. take a look at all your fuses, some time the fuel bowl heater can short out causing a no start. unplug the element from the bowl and replace the fuse. also, could be the cps. does your tach move while cranking? this will get you back to the top of the list anyway. good luck.
anyway to test that?
i take injector driver module is IDM
also i forgot to mention c=vans fuel gauge reads 1/8 tank
don't the vans have metal fuel tanks? if so they are painted inside and that paint starts to fail. it will clog the pick up screens . you could try to blow compressed air back through the line to clear the screens in the tank. take the line loose at the inlet of the pump and blow it back towards the tank. take the fuel cap off first.
or your pick up foot could have fell off in the tank, put some more fuel in it and try again if it only has 1/8 of a tank.
Thanks, ill try that in AM
what port is used for fuel pressure testing the upper or lower on the filter housing
and what are people using for the fitting that screws into port plug spot.
thread seems to be m10x1.25

I'm not much help there, I think I remember reading some where that the plug on top of the hpop is the same size though. check it and take it with you to match some thing up if it is.
Clay at Riffraff Diesel Perf. has the fitting - I just ordered it for my fuel pressure sender. Its 1/8" NPT straight threads on the bowl side, and FNPT tapered threads on the sender side.
