On my 1991 F150 2 WD I had a grinding from my front left brake so I picked up the parts, new rotors, bearings and seals and started the job. I took of both old front rotors and noticed that both rotors had no seals on the back of them.
Is this correct or was the last break job done incorrectly.
Do the new rotors need new seals installed???
Please help.
I'm assuming you are talking about the round seal that goes behind the inner bearing correct? You definitely need to have a rubber seal there to keep dirt and water out of your bearings, and keep the grease in.
