hello

i bought a 1942 ford 2ton ,last september. hoping too get it back on the road. been reading alot on these models. truck is somewhat complete,was stored in a barn since the mid 60. that was the last year it was registerd,i got the plate,but no registration. took a couple of tries and alot off paper work but i got registration now. got it running motor seems too run good,no brakes only hand brake for now! will have a lot of question.

it originally had a gravel box. the owner sold the box when he stop trucking in 1960. all left is the power take off. its got a 13feet platform made off wood ,rotten wood now! i was going too make a pickup out off it!!! but change my mine . i think it will stay a truck,and would like to have some sort off dumping system. too make it useful (firewood, little load gravel,spring clean up,trip too the dump) just a nice old truck. its far from ready for an inspection,for a plate.

trying a picture

here were it was sitting when i bought it,the owner son took it out off the barn 3 years ago to be able to store his old tractor.

Not in bad shape at all!!! There is a truck locally here where I live in just about that shape. I would buy it if my wife wouldn't kill me... (The pics are in my album btw)
