Hi guys,
Cool forum you have here! I should have joined long ago. I have a couple old trucks, a 56 big window, and 66 longbed (my work truck...lol). I'm currently doing a bit of freshening up on the 66. We've been thru a 352 and new process 4 speed, a 390, a 427, and finally a 460 and c6. Disc brakes, late model (um, late seventies) power steering box, and Dana 60. I'll share anything I've learned over the twelve or thirteen years I've had the 66 and thirty plus years the 56 has been in the family. As soon as I can figure out how to post a picture, I will. I'm in Vegas, so if anyone is ever in town, drop me a note, I'll buy you a beer or three.....

First off, Welcome to FTE...this is THE place for all your Ford truck needs/advice...at least in my opinion :-)
I envy you being in LV...all that pretty rust free sheetmetal...
I look forward to hearing more and seeing pics of your trucks

Well; welcome aboard. Glad to have ya. Looking forward to seeing those trucks. I don't know if you got to have a certian number of post, but go to your User CP and you'll see a place for Gallery, then create gallery. Hopefully you can figure it out from there, if not someone alot brighter than I will assist ya.
Again welcome its a cool site to be on.

Al, welcome to the family of Ford Truck Enthusiast!!. I am also experiencing problem downloading pic's to my existing gallery, seems problem surfaced when FTE website was upgraded. Anyhow, now use a free online album storage website, 'photo-bucket', for posting pic's to a thread. Couple of cigar smokem buds and I have been talking about hitting one of the annual cigar manufacturers convention there in Vegas, if we ever follow, perhaps can meet for a brewski, Oh Yea !! Again, welcome and post pic's when you can.

Went to Vegas once. Had a real blast. Got an old fellow (fishing guide) named Bill to take me out fishing for the day on Lake Meade. Caught some nice ones. The town's full of pretty lights at night though. I'm not much on drinking & gambling but I love to fish.

Wow! Thanks for the warm welcome! Seems like a great crew here. I just had a look at trying to load some pics, but no luck. I'll look at photobucket. And I don't wanna make anyone jelouse or anything (snicker) but it was about 70 here today. Great weather, loads of micro brews...man, what a life! I read some of the other posts, I like how everone communicates on this forum. I'll have a look thru the gallery, too. I'm thinking of changing color(s), so that might help me decide. Thanks again everyone, I look forward to talking with you, and maybe even meeting some of you!!
