Are there any know aftermarket sources for these plates? I need one for the 5.8/manual trans setup ( 164 tooth flywheel) and I can't seem to locate one. Fleabay was no help, Ferd says NLA. I have a WTB ad up but haven't really gotten any good results.
I heard them called a bunch of different things like a 'block saver plate, 'starter indexing plate', 'flywheel dust shield',' trans spacer plate', ect.....
Thanks for that link. I'd love to find a stock one, but I may have to get the one that you showed me.
Typical aftermarket for a stick shift will be full diameter to cover bottom of flywheel(no inspection cover). I linked you the one for an automatic. Call Summit racing and talk to tech line.
Likely will be about $100!!! Not cheap, but they are a bit thicker then OEM(these are 1/8" thick, most OEM are about 1/16" thick)
