200amp Alternator Install
The so called drop in 200amp alternator aint so.
The area circled sits about 10mm lower than the stock at the front and back.
So you are going to need a grinder.
take a little of the bracket and all is good

2) was the grinding of the mount the only mod necessary to fit the 200 amper?
3) How much cheaper was it than the FA $6000 replacement, w & w/o freight?
4) How long were you waiting & which transport option did you go for?

$250 Delivered. And it took 11 days.
Yes the grinding is all that is needed.
Not on the road yet. I cracked my Map sensor when I was putting the IC tube back on. I tried super glue but she is leaking like a sieve. Found one down in Victoria. Hopefully get it by Tuesday.
