have been wanting to buy the delete stuff for my 08. I was curious, do or did all the tuner brands have the delete option? I'm going to get one quick as I can but want to make sure I get the correct stuff! also if anone has one for sale pm me.
OK, you gotta be careful and alert now. The EPA put Edge and H&S in the ditch. So, they are both selling tuners for the 6.4L but THEY ARE NOT ABLE TO DELETE THE DPF. Spartan appears to have not been impacted, makes me wonder. Anyway, there are still some edge "racing" tuners and some H&S minis in some speed shops. Of course the prices are up. Check ebay, craigs list and the manufacturers web sites for a used one. BTW, I posted yesterday there is a 6.4 tuner on the ATL craigs list with KEM tunes which are supposed to be pretty good. Look under auto parts/F350 from a day or two ago. If you want one you better buy it cause they are getting hard to find. Good luck.
There's another one in the Detroit Craigs list from a dealer for a mini max with pipe for $2200, but I blew that one off, no way.
I don't remember why but I had a heads up on the H&S deal with the EPA. I posted on here and said I should buy up a couple dozen of the Minis while the're still cheap (900 at the time). I wish I had cause they will get 2000 a piece for them now. Or they will if spartan gets the same treatment Edge and H&S got. And they will, unless somebody has some very very good connections. I look for someone to go over seas and start making the DPF off stuff there. There are still a lot of 6.4S coming out of warranty for two more years and the mini will work with the 6.7s. I don't know if they would have to sell them black market or could just ship them to a buyer but I do think there will be a market for them until the technology gets corrected.

What are these chips for 69 bucks..sounds like old school chips..you can't do that in a modern diesel.. computer driven. You have to re-program.

I'd call them a separater, designed to separate you from 69 dollars. Right now the tuners that will get you a mile or two improvement are a minimum of 1000 bucks for the tuner, plus you need a delete pipe. Sorry, but that is the sad situation we are in. just read through some of the posts on here and you will have the whole story in no time.
