About a year ago I had my 6L studded, deleted(gogo manifold), updated, new turbo, blue spring, dummy tubes, bullet proof water pump.....the y pipe leaked for a while till the smell started getting in the cab. My mechanic took care of it (no charge) but said he could not get it to seat properly to seal well and he ended up using some hi temp sealer in the connection exhaust manifold to Y pipe. Now it is starting to leak again not sure what to do it is just a matter of time till it leaks enough to bother us in the cab.
Thanks for the tips we will try this next time. My mechanic didn't like using that sealer either but after 4th or5th time he had it on and off that s what he did. I was wondering if there was a certain sequence to install that pipe that would work better. This site has been very helpful providing so much advice really appreciate it very much!
