Y pipe leaking

Y pipe leaking
Hi Guys
My new to me 95 F350 CC DRW with a 460 EFI has a leak on the passenger side manifold and of course the bolts are shot and will break off if I try to remove them. I have done a search but did not come up with what I was looking for is there a better designed aftermarket Y pipe for the engine or is there some trick to stop the leak with out taking the pipe off.
Thanks
Dave

You did not say exactly where the leak is... manifold to head or manifold to Y Pipe.
I have had the manifold to Y pipe leak Twice on the passenger side. The 94 F250 and I assume the 350 with 460 engine has a Cone and socket design where the Y Pipe mates to the manifold. Under stress, from what I can tell, the pipe gets very hot and causes the Y Pipe to get soft right near the junction. When the Socket part(On the Y Pipe) gets soft it shifts and causes a leak. Mine actually look wrinkled right near the socket part.
Ford replaced mine one time at the tune of $600 for the entire Y PIpe, I stupidly thought it would be covered under emissions warranty. I should have just taken it to a muffler shop who would have cut off the bad part and welded a new stronger one on.
Probably only permanent cure is to get a good header or maybe someone makes a good aftermarket Y Pipe. If you find one please post the results, since my Y Pipe is leaking again.
If you have a manifold to head leak then you are going to have fun. You will need to remove and replace at least the bolts. If you break one, it will be no fun. This problem has been discussed many times and a search should turn up some answers.
Good Luck,
