Exhaust leak....

On my '74 I have an exhaust leak between the manifolds and the pipe. I just put new donuts in a few days ago and found that on the passenger side where the leak is the pipe does not go through the donut, and the pipe is bent just right to where the donut doesn't fully seal the pipe to the manifold. There is about an 1/8th inch gap. I am trying to come up with some good ideas to fill this. Headers and possibly an overhaul are in the BIG picture, but not anywhere close at this time. I'd just like to fix it as cheap as I can.

Cut the pipe loose at an easy to access spot, adjust the pipe so that it fits the flange/donut gasket better. Bolt it back up and weld the exhaust back up via a short sleeve.

I did the same on my drivers side, except i just bought a band clamp and sealed both pipes up.
