Hey guys, been a while. I'll hopefully have the motor back in my '77 soon and running. We just got a husky puppy last week, and in the spring & summer we'll use the truck to haul him around, and I don't want him or stuff I haul from Lowe's scratching up my pristine original paint in the bed.
Years ago when I watched Trucks! and the other shows on Spike TV they had ads for a 3-piece rubber/plastic snap-in bedliner, rubber mat on the floor and hard plastic panels for the bedsides. Anyone remember what they were called? And do they make one for dents?
I'm also looking for some polished stainless bed rail mats w/o stake pocket holes if anyone knows a good source.
Trapping moisture is not a concern, as the truck is never driven in rain/snow.

I'm not coming up with anything for your truck at least with sides .. So the way I see it anything you place in the bed is going to rub the paint thin anyway so I would just go with a spray in liner it would be durable enough to protect against Husky paws/claws ..
Maybe consider a clear vinyl, something like they put on car hoods. I'd wager over time those stainless guards will do some harm to the paint.
*edit* I see the one you posted covers them, never mind on the ss comment.
