When i try to use rear window washer the fluid comes out on the front window with front wipers not activating and rear one moving. The front washer works fine. The hose was disconnected above the headliner. Any ideas?
I tried searching before i posted, on this forum and google, nothing i found addressed my problem. Its warm, so my hose is not frosen and i have no leaks by the passenger kick panel or in the back. When i disconect the hose by the kick panel i have no fluid leaking from there.
I have some ideas...
Does your front windshield washer spray on demand too? if not it could be that the front and rear supply hoses have been swapped.
If they work properly. I wonder if your washer pump assembly is stuck and it is only feeding the front. (I am guessing that Ford only has one pump to move the washer fluid.)
Somebody recently found the washer fluid hose kinked up in the back hatch...Could be part of your problem. Not sure why it would spray up front, though. Somebody may have tinkered with it in the past and re-routed/messed with the plumbing. If it ain't the plumbing, it could be a bad module/circuit.
