Tire size

Hello all, curious on my wheels. Does anyone know if these are Ford originals? If someone has experience with these, do you have any idea the nicest/bigger size tires I can get on them? I have the 4X2 truck so it not like the highboy.

Not looking to go crazy but the tires are shot and I am looking for something that will look a little nicer.

Not factory. What is your current size tire? Are they 16 or 16.5? How are the drip rails going?

Ahhhh, stupid me sort of jumped the gun on asking the question. I don't have the truck parked at my house at the moment due to still more snow...
I think they are 16's from what I recall.

The roof project is on hold till it's nicer out also...NOT looking forward to that.

I sort of like the wagon wheels. They can look great painted with a contrasting color like bronze. If they were mine and 16's that's what I'd do. If they are 16.5's then I'd upgrade. Lots of choices at Summit. Wagon wheels, chrome and aluminum. I went with US wheel chrome steel to replace my 16.5's. Love them.

Don't get me wrong, I like the wheels too...I just want to see about getting a nice tire size to put on them. Something a little bigger would fill the wheel wells out nicely.

Snow!?, ha, ha,ha, I get to dig out my trucks every 3-4 days so that I can work on them in -5 celcious + weather. Any colder and the hoses and regulator on my o2 bottle freezes up. My doc shakes his head when I show him how I get fresh air and exercise. Guess you gotta be hardy to be a 3/4 dead Canuck. Like them bronze rims, real saaaxy. Good thing your more creative than me. FORD, available in any colour you like, as long as it's black.

Wagon wheels is what there called? Okay, got it. I will try to look for a stock replacement, the posted pictures is not what I am looking for.
Privateer, you can keep that cold by you! Its been like 20-30's here and that's bad enough for my wimpiness. It's just lingering on now which sucks this time of year.
I believe the rims are 16"

Thanks. Link for the camo paint? Well, it's Krylon paint camo series. For the pattern, go into the woods and squint your eyes to blur your vision to see the loose blobs of lights and darks. Then I shot fender, placed it against a tree, and walked about 50 feet away to see if it worked.

Snow is something I play in... not something I live in. Why suffer?? That stuff makes daily living sooooo inconvenient.

Well...crap; I read one of my tires and the size on it is 9.50R 16.5LT

I have ben trying to figure the conversion to newer style formats but not finding anything. I went to Tire rack and found ONE set of Firestone tires with that size which works! Wondering if I should be looking for new wheels.

I love wagon wheels, especially on light-colored trucks. Here's a shot of mine. It completely changed the truck's appearance when I changed from the stock wheels and dog dish hub caps.

Actually if it wasn't for the chinooks I wouldn't be doing squat, plus I was born and raised in a Manitoba farm town so freezing my tail off was part of my education. Maybe thats where I learned to be a Pita. I heard rumour that 16.5s were going the way of the dodo so maybe your better off going to 16s. I've seen a lot of wagon wheels around so they shouldn't be too expensive.
