I've been looking at a dually conversion for my 05 F250 just for stability and decreased rear tire loads when towing my 5er. Does anyone know if the body lines are the same for the dually boxes and non dually boxes? Have a line on some cheap dually fenders off an 05 but don't know if they'll line up correctly with the body lines on the 250 box and they are 200 miles away so I can't just hold them up to it to see. May just have to bight the bullet and get the aftermarket ones if they won't line up. Gotta drill for mounting anyways so either option works.
The body lines should match up. Biggest difference between the single and dually bedsides are the mouting holes and hardware. Id make sure you get the mounting brackets. There should be 2 per side. Splash shields may be a tricky fit.

Thanks for the info. I'm hoping to go see them and buy them this coming long weekend. May have to fabricate my own shields. Any idea what I need to make sure is there for the fuel connection? They are supposed to be complete.
Cheers
That depends? Do you have a short box or long box Superduty? Long box has the gas door in the typical location. Sort box has. Round gas door at the front of the fender. I would hope they left the filler neck on the fender. Better check. Long filler neck? Ad I'm not sure how they would have routed a longer neck through the bedside. Do you a lady have the axel swap ready to go? Wondering if airbags wouldn't meet your needs without having to do some many mods to the truck.
Good point. I do have Firestone air bag helpers all around already which are amazing and it's a short box. The difference in towing my current fiver with them is like night and day. The new toy hauler is about 3000lbs GVWR heavier and 1000lbs heavier on the pin. I'm going to use one of the conversion kits which uses steel billet adapters front and rear with aluminum rims. The main thing I want is to take load off the single rear tires and have a bigger footprint at the rear. Not looking to increase the GVWR which you can't anyhow.
