I have a 67 with a 390, running hooker longtubes, 2.5" past the trans then 3" from there with summit street and strip chambered mufflers and 3" turndowns.

Sounds really good. Better than flowmasters IMO

When I bought the rig, it had a 4V carb and aluminum intake but was attempting to exhale through stock manifolds and dual 2.25-inch tubes and Flows.

Swapping in headers and 2.5-inch tubing REALLY uncorked the horsepower. She's a screamer now.... the truck I mean.

Moroso Spiral Flows are an auger-style, straight through design so there is no fiberglass to blow out or crumble. Plus, they are really compact as you can see. My other consideration were Dynomax race bullets.
