ok so I have a 2002 f150 5.4L 4x4 7700 and she was misfiring bad the other day I changed coil pack 1 and 4 because thats what my codes where reading and i changed all of my spark plugs just because the check engine light went away for a little over a day and boy was she running good she had a little hikup with a miss fire but it quickly fixed itself but later now my check engine light is back on and is miss firing again and this time it isnt fixing itself what is going on with my truck? please help
Recheck the codes, don't assume that because you replace those parts, that other issues haven't come up. What brand coils did you use? Some aftermarket ones are worse than old worn out factory parts. I will pretty much only use OEM replacement parts on my own ignition systems.
im going to recheck them after i go to school but i just dont see how i replace those 2 coils and it ran perfectly fine no problums then one lil miss fire that fixed it self the ran fine again then just completly took a **** on me again all within a day of driving
The coils have snap lock connectors.
Be sure you have them seated fully on.
Should not be able to wiggle them when fully seated or you will have trouble again unless the connector is faulty.
Good luck.

I ment I wiggled the wire harness not the connections
Don't be surprised if you have probems again.
You need to take a good look at the situation to see if there is any sensitivity to vibration at some location.
Good luck.
