The Steering Stabilizer seems to be a common culprit from what ive read on this Forum & in my experiences on Crotch-Rockets that DONT have a Stabilizer (mostly Honda's ) something similar happens if u dont re-plant the front wheel just right. Seen it happen once & also on numerous video clips...Ouch
I guess what iam saying is the S.S. would be my 1st check & if u feel the need to ride a Super Bike make sure it says "GSXR" on the side

Tankslappers... I always felt the Kawasaki ZX7R was the most stable one of the bunch,
I would really look at that track bar. The bushing on the frame mount wear's, (if their is a Fuel leak from the pressure regulator, it run's down to the track bar frame mount) and it is just a ball joint on the axle, remember that Bushing, and 1 ball joint keep the axle under the truck.
(The truck the OP was asking about is an 05)
After that I would look at Ball Joint's, Drag Link, and Tie Rod ends. Obviously check Tire Pressures.
I've heard of the Death Wobble, but like everyone else had never seen it. I have seen something similar from tires that weren't balanced right and big trucks with autobalancers. All it took was a bump to set it off.
I checked under the truck and found the oil seals are out on both sides of the axle. I'm going to assume the bearings are going out or are out. I will have to get it to the mechanic to see how bad it really is. Thanks again guys for all of the great advice.
As others have mentioned the large black rings that you see flopping around are the outer dust seals meant to keep large debris out of the tube. Its common practice to cut them off and not worry about them unless your a hardcore off roader. In that case I believe there is a improved design that can be installed. Most dont bother with it unless they are in there repairing something else which would require axle removal.
